first off, this Friday is the last ///RESTLESS dance party in Vegas, meaning ever!!! featuring performances by The Twelves and Nite Jewel, not to mention all of us djs. show up it'll be fun!
somehow, "Try it Out", Klique's 1983 album, missed 8 years of record raids on my parents vinyl stash. now that i've finally heard it, i'm wondering when were my parents cool enough to have bought this. Inside Me gives a good taste of the synthesized boogie this album represents, and I Can't Get Enough from 1982's "Let's Wear it Out" gives away the bands funk origins:
